Jennifer Connelly as the mysterious and dangerous Emma Burgess in The Heart of Justice, a 1992 crime mystery TV movie. The dialogue and acting is pretty B-grade but the mood is appropriately noirish and Connelly is excellent. This is definitely a must-see for JC fans since it’s one of the few roles where she plays a villain. It also features one of Vincent Price’s last appearances that his fans will relish.

The movie is surprisingly rare. In 2004, it got released on an out-of-print DVD in Australia but hasn’t been available since. The only way to catch it was on TV. Thankfully, you can watch it here. No masterpiece by any stretch of the imagination but it’s nice to see how far Connelly had progressed in terms of acting.
